Svampen

In the town of Örebro is the famous Water Tower Mushroom. It was built in 1958 and was commissioned in the same year. Its bizarre shape resembling a mushroom and modern design attract many tourists. Since 1958, on the upper floor has had over 8 million visitors.

The tower height is 58 meters, and it holds about 9 million liters of water.

On the "mushroom cap" equipped with an observation deck overlooking a stunning view of the city of Örebro. There is also a cozy café and a museum of water.

Water Tower Mushroom (Svampen) is open to visitors from May 1 to October 31.
