Linnaean Garden
Linnaeus Garden is the oldest botanical garden in Sweden, broken in Uppsala. Its territory is mainly planted those plants that described in his writings, naturalist and physician Carl Linnaeus.
Linnaeus Garden was established in 1665 by the Swedish scientist, botanist Olaf Rudbeck the Elder. To date, the Botanical Garden Linnaeus grows about 1,300 species of plants. In addition, the popularity of this park-garden among Swedes because he is depicted on each banknote hundred crowns.
