Kärnan
Kärnan - a medieval tower in Helsingborg, which previously was a castle ensemble destroyed back in 1679. The castle served as an outpost guarding and controlling the Baltic Sea, namely the Øresund Strait.
Kärnan powerful fortress was built on the orders of the Danish prince Eric VI in 1310. Survived only a single tower, on top of which was equipped with an observation deck.
It is very popular among visitors to the city, since Kärnan tower offers a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea and the Strait.
